It's Not All About the Inside

How do you add some "Sizzle" to the front of a plain brick building to make it look like the areas newest hot spot? Purple Uplighting!

The Sunset Room at the National Harbor is a wonderful venue. Showtime Events was brought in to add uplighting to what was already turning out to be a grand event. Amber uplighting was the icing on the cake to this five star wedding reception package which included chiavari chairs, lounge furniture, pintuck table clothes, fresh floral arrangements and a live jazz band. The amber uplighting could be seen from blocks away through the windows that surrounded the room and overlooked the Potomac River.

Corporate Office Holiday Makeover

Showtime Events was contacted to turn the home of this Crystal City based Forbe's List Corporation into the hottest new nightspot in the area. Out with the conference tables and computers and in with the lights and lounge furniture. For this corporate holiday party we brought in white benches and ottomans accompanied by LED cubes. Ice blue uplighting along with custom and snow flake gobos set the mood for this corporate holiday party. Check out the photos!

Wedding Reception @ The National Museum of the Marine Corps

If you've ever driven south down 95 past Potomac Mills you may have noticed this pointy building sticking up out of the trees. That pointy building is the National Museum of the Marine Corps. If you were ever looking for some place unique to have a reception, this would be it. We used red uplighting, textured lighting on the floor and a custom gobo to bring out the mood in this venue already bursting with personality.

Lighting for a Bat Mitzvah @ The Cloisters Castle

Lighting can be used in so many different ways. The Cloisters Castle with all its personality allowed for many opportunities to highlight it's unique structure and decor. Knights greet you when you walk through the door. We used red pinspots to highlight their armor. We also used purple uplights in the four story staircase. Now that's "Sizzle"! 

40th Birthday @ The Atrium at Treetops

40th birthday at the Atrium at Treetops. Blue uplighting was complimented by vertical trussing, moving head party lights and a custom gobo monogram. Purple uplights ran along the back hallway and inside the truss. Getcha groove on!
